If you're going to join a girl gang, make sure it's as cool as the one at Bang Bang Brows.
These women are amazing. Everything from brows to facials, they do it all within the cutest historical building in downtown Boise, equipped with all the plants and exposed brick, making for the perfect vibe.
Initially, when Ashlen and I were planning this shoot for bang bang brows we discussed shooting around the downtown Boise area, but quickly realized that being the end of November the weather would be less than desirable (like 34° and snowy less than desirable). Enter Studio Q. We all fell in love with the space the moment we walked in! Everything from the natural light, to the expansive prop options and perfect backdrops (Not to mention the warmth that was seriously lacking outside), this place had it all.
My overall goal for this shoot was to capture each woman individually, but also capture the essence of the group as a whole. A camaraderie of epic proportions. Never have I seen such an incredible example of women lifting each other up. These girls cheered each other on, they helped fix hair and made sure everyone looked their best. They cracked jokes and complimented one another to keep everyone comfortable and confident. All of this was just a glimpse of how they support each other day in and day out during their 9 to 5.
The creator and owner Ashlen has built an amazing empire. She's kind, down to earth, everyone's best friend and the first to have your back. She values her craft and has perfected it beyond words. In turn, she has cultivated a company with like-minded employees. The moment you walk in the door you're greeted with warm smiles. Any questions you have are answered by a wealth of knowledge. Their dedication to continued education proves just how much they love their craft and their clients even more.
The only struggle you may find behind the doors at bang bang brows is making the decision of who to work with. Ashlen, Jesse and Ashley all create incredible brows. Everything from waxing to tinting to microblading. The amount of detail and care they put into each brow is next level.

They can address every skin concern you've ever had and will have you leaving so glowy and youthful that people will actually question if you've somehow managed to age backwards. I had so much fun with this shoot. Being able to wrap up my 2022 year on such a high note was the perfect ending!
